On my way into work this morning I got behind a car with the license plate “L8R G8RR”. While the rush hour commute normally just annoys the holy hell out of me, this was one of those “stop and smell the roses” moments that caused me to laugh out loud in my car. In the over played sub-culture of vanity plates, I found the use of the double “R” to be a refreshing stroke of genius. Much like the “Z” in nineties youth culture, the double “R” sends out the message, loud and clear, “Do Not Even Think About Messing With Me And My Mercury Sable!“

This has to be a joke. Right?

Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. This theory is perfectly exampled in the image below. Personally, I am going to hold out for the grilled panini version.

In an effort to try and cut down on the distractions and clutter in my cyber-life I have decided to give the web browser know as Flock a go. Apparently one can blog directly from the browser, which is what I’m doing at this very moment. I doubt this will actually simplify anything in my life, but the side bar options cause me to swoon with GTD possibilities. Mind you, I’ve never successfully excecuted a GTD plan in my life. I did just by a Moleskine though.

Saudi Arabai is hoping to create an economy beyond oil. How are they doing it you ask? By state funded investments in infrastucture. The rest of the world is in a race to the future while we sit around arguing the validity of global warming and weather to drill or not to drill. Wind Power anyone?
