Our elected officials here in Pennsylvania tabled the Senate vote on SB1250 yesterday because the House Leadership pledged to kill the bill in committee. Led by a Republican from Philadelphia, House Leadership did their elected job by effectively killing this hateful, bigoted legislation. “Grass-roots” Christian fundamentalists will no doubt re-double their efforts to pressure our elected officials to pass this bill. I encourage anyone who reads this and lives in Pennsylvania to contact their State Senators and Representatives and encourage them to oppose SB1250. If you are not of voting age, please call anyways.
